Robert Waddell Cooke

   

 

Worked as a Radio Operator in the Arctic in 1937. Served as a Tech Tel in the Royal Canadian Air Force Auxiliary from 1950 to 1953. Senior Member of The Institute of Radio Engineers. Studied Radio Physics at the University of Western Ontario and Graduated with Honours.

A travaillé comme opérateur radio dans l'Arctique en 1937. A servi comme Tech Tel dans l'Aviation royale canadienne auxiliaire de 1950 à 1953. Membre principal de l'Institut des ingénieurs radio. A étudié la radiophysique à l'Université de Western Ontario et diplômé avec mention.

 

Robert Waddell Cooke

Robert Waddell Cooke was born on August 1, 1913, in Montréal.

Robert spent the winter of 1937 in Alaska as a radio operator

tracking search planes in the Arctic.

Robert served as a Flight Lieutenant with the Royal Canadian Air Force Auxiliary

Radar and Communications - Tech Tel from 1950 to 1953

 

Robert was a Senior Member of The Institute of Radio Engineers

Robert studied Radio Physics at University of Western Ontario

and graduated with Honours

 

Robert passed away at the age of 70 on October 29, 1983, in Hawkesbury, Ontario
