Ernie O’Hara Joined in 1940 as a wireless operator on the CGS Lady Laurier.

He then went to Cap Race, got married, then on to VAX Canso and to the Low Point naval station

He was in Churchill for two years with Art Bambrick and  wife Liles,  while Art was OIC of VAP .

Followed some time at Chesterfield Inlet with his wife,

He then he accepted a posting at  Hartlen Point in 1948 with Cyril Spracklin, George Day, Bob Ferguson who later moved to Montague, PEI as OIC.

He worked at St Johns Airport 10 years and his career ended at the Moncton Air Services regional office.
